Murmeli goes India

An AIESEC traineeship in Hyderabad, India

The farewell party

Yesterday we had a farewell party for me and Tiina, who is going to New Delhi one day before I’m going to Hyderabad. The party was held in Lehtisaari.Farewell party - beginning

There were about 15 people there. First we had something to eat, played pair tag and then there was an India quiz between me and Tiina. Then there were some speeches as well as presents. This was also a good opportunity to welcome Pavel to Jyväskylä. He is our brand newFarewell party - quiz trainee from Russia, working in Viitasaari. After the speeches and presents we went to the sauna and some of us even did some swimming. The weather was nice, maybe a bit windy, but otherwise very good.

It was nice to see so many people there. It really gives me a feeling that I’m not actually going away alone.

Afterwards we went to Sohvi for afters, had a few drinks (well, obviously 😉 ), talked and watched the football game that they were showing on the big screen. Farewell party - Sohvi

  1. We had fun didn’t we… can’t believe, I won’t see you again for a whole year even maybe. But don’t worry, we’ll make sure the new OGX girls (hmmm, what a preassumption, could be ogx boys as well, right?) will know who you are when you get back. And keep on posting your tidings! 😉 It’ll be interesting to see how you’re doing. HUGS and take care!
